AutismAI Lab is one researcher. The work spans autism (Grovalin, Volitiq) and proposed in-home sensing for older adults and people with disabilities (HEARTH) — which is more ground than one person can cover well. Below is an honest account of where help would actually change something, and where there is nothing to join yet.
Ways to contribute
Some of this is work that exists today. Some belongs to research lines that are still proposals. Each lane says which, so nobody signs up for something that is not running.
The two shipped tools always have more work than one person can do: bugs, features, performance, and accessibility.
The area where outside expertise matters most. Co-author a study, review a method, or tell me where the clinical reasoning is wrong.
Nothing here is collecting data today. These are the datasets the proposed work would need, and the conversations worth starting early.
Grovalin and Volitiq are usable today, and feedback from people who actually use them changes what gets built next.
Where help is most needed
HEARTH is the least-developed part of the lab and the part most in need of people who actually know the field: geriatric care, occupational therapy, gerontechnology, and disability advocacy. Both of its research lines are proposed rather than running, so this is the stage where an outside perspective still changes the design.

The lab runs unfunded. Nothing has been submitted to a funder so far, so there is no grant-backed position to offer and nothing is being promised. The intention is to build toward submissions in federal and foundation programs covering ageing, disability, and health technology — and I would rather talk to potential co-investigators before writing a proposal than after.
